Green n Yellow Group helps bring unity to the community by serving our local areas & organizations

“Green and Yellow have changed my heart and have made me appreciate all the little things in more ways than I could ever imagine. They were putting on their Annual Father’s Day giveaway. I nominated my husband as he had, had a difficult year and deserved a nomination. My husband was chosen, and a short time later I reached out to the group for information on how to volunteer as a thank you and I joined!

Seeing the beautiful programs and events they have in place, keeping our city parks clean for safer access to children, raising fundraisers to give back to our vets who made our lives possible, giving a warm meal to our friends living amongst the streets and so much more, has made me be more grateful for what I have, but during that time they have shown me what’s it like to have a big family that has your back your no matter what

Not even a year later, I have seen more lives changed and inspired than I have seen in my lifetime. Being able to change someone’s entire day, by giving them a smile and a little compassion has forever changed my life because this beautiful family did the same for mine when we needed it the most. If you ever get a chance, take the leap and volunteer. Not only will it change your life but you could change someone else’s too.”

“GNY changed my life in ways I never thought possible. Not only did I meet some amazing people, but I also got to experience firsthand what this amazing group can do. My kids got to experience something they never did before. They had brand new bikes donated to them & got to join in on the most amazing bike parade.

I’ve got to experience what it’s like to give back to my community & got to feel cared about by people that turned into a part of my family. I got to see what true happiness looks like on the faces of people who struggled. I also got to experience true happiness. I got to learn that this community is truly better when everyone does what they can.
